So what’s happens to BURY FC ?

This is interesting, as there may be a technical loophole available that can be used by both sides (Bury and EFL)

There's part of me that hope it works, as I don't want to see any club go to the wall (well, maybe one) :thumbright:

Surely if the season Is void then every decision made in that season regarding the league also has to be void.

They had a place in this seasons league so they should have a place back next season now this decision has been made. It's all or nothing.

I would like to see them back

That’s true I reckon as if they made it void from now there’d be an argument for promotion and relegation. Think they have a very good case IF the season is void.

Chris,

Bury had just been promoted to League 1.

A corrupt owner.

Yes one relegation, but surely as one of the oldest clubs in football, they should not send then to like the 12th league, more now due to seasons not completed.

Why keep asking this question?
With no disrespect to Bury FC they were already expelled from their league before Covid-19 and were no longer competing.
So unfortunately they are out.
Its sad but as simple as that.

its a hell of a mess up there mate... there is Bury who are still owned by that fella that bought them for a £1 , all be it along with astronomical debts who have applied to join the national league next season... Gigg lane has a charge against it from a company in admin who themselves leased the ground to another company that no one seems to know much about...then there are the fans , half of whom now want to start a phoenix club and ground share with someone temporarily as they assumed Bury was finished..the only thing that is certain is neither will be a football league club this coming season..

I agree it's unlikely and it sounds like us under Sam where we owed money to people nobody knew.

BUT

The decision to expell them from the league was this season and as such if the season is void then that should be reversed.
Even if it means kicking them out again before next season they should really be given a chance to prove they have sorted themselves out.

well the club {original Bury } haven't even applied for football league status .they've applied for national lge
and I think the other bunch who would be a new club like FCUnited would enter even lower...
