So with Wales having its own laws regarding the pandemic,
Perhaps the WAG should cover the furlough payments then ?

I don't think he comes on here much. You're definitely better off emailing him.

No because they only have certain powers and paying any money out is not one of them.

All the complicated expensive decisions can be dealt with by Westminster. The WAG will just object every time there is an announcement then slowly day by day follow suit so as to look like they are in charge

if it was down to them they would probably have an independent inquiry into if they should pay it.. then do the exact opposite to the inquiry findings..

Furlough will ultimately be paid for by Uk treasury funded in part by uk tax payers, including welsh taxpayers, myself included.

There will be a big issue when this is over and they try to put the tax up of the self employed millions they refused to help.
I will not be paying a single penny more than the rate I do now as I was refused help. Why should I pay for others but get nothing when I needed it ?
The scheme was and is a joke. People sat at home for years on end being given fortunes whilst hard working self employed being screwed then forced to pay for it afterwards

I can see big problems and demonstrations in a few months
