People have been sunbathing in parks and on the beaches. The police have admitted they have lost control of this. So it will be allowed as long as they follow the rules, otherwise there will be an increased fine system.
Many of the people he talked about are already (or never stopped) working, like construction workers.
Schools have stayed open, and may open up more if the conditions are right in 3 weeks.
No mention of shops opening for some time.
I suggest you listen to his speech and not the left wing media outlets with an agenda.
The first minister of Wales (dreary Drakeford) even contradicted his own health minister (Vaughan Gethin) today, and basically agreed with the Prime Ministers stance.
It is almost certain there will be an increase in cases as the lockdown eases (as in every other country) followed by a 2nd, even 3rd wave, of the spread of the virus whatever precautions are taken.

If you live in Wales or Scotland, just go with what your First Minister says. Listen to Stormont if you live in Northern Ireland.
But in England there will be millions going back to work, people sunbathing in parks and soon schools reopening, shops open etc.
There will be another peak in England within the next few weeks.
Shambolic.

Presumably the government are still "following the science" in loosening the restrictions but the population seems unwilling to accept the same scientific advice that led to the lockdown in the first place.
Unless the government have decided to ignore the current scientific advice?
If however the government is indeed following the science it just goes to show how terrified the population has become over the last few months and how they are no longer willing to accept what they are being told by those in charge.

Nothing has really changed work wise other than giving people hope for June.
All they have done is tell factories and warehouses they can work with social distancing - no change
Tell people who cant work from home to go to work like trades and construction - no change
The fact they are letting people go out more than once is the same as Wales did on Friday apart from they will be allowed to sunbathe away from other people. They cannot meet anyone outside of the household.
At least he has given the public some sort of hope for the future
Schools going back is the major issue

Bring up this topic in a few weeks when I'm proven right.

Does seem that Hancock is being set up to be the fall guy, he doesn't help himself when he does speak though.
It's no secret that I'm a Labour member, supporter etc but I have said time and time again I want the Government to deal with this well because it's in all our interests.
But they should also be criticised when they get it wrong.
