Another great day / another great player Peter Thorne

Way preferred the lower leagues than the Premier and our fans were so
Much more passionate and appreciated everything :thumbright: :bluebird: :occasion5: :bluescarf:

One of my favourite players. Intelligent and great header of the ball considering he wasn't exactly huge. Top bloke too - bumped into him in car park of NP after a game and he had all the time in the world to chat. :bluescarf:

remember the Ashton Gate leg so well. So much pressure and Alexander played a blinder. L :bluescarf: iterally Rourkes Drift!!!

His ability to hang in the air while the cross came in confused many a giant centre back. Look at the last goal here.

The Ashton Gate 2nd leg was the second longest game ever only beaten by the Barnsley FA Cup S/F @ Wembley.

It was an amazing effort by everyone fans included and I loved the banners at the end which read "We are on our way to Cardiff" :bluescarf:

Yes that second leg seemed to go on for ever

And if it wasn't for an unbelievable save by Neil Alexander (can't remember from who) goodness knows what would have happened.

Also remember watching the highlights afterwards and I think it was Kav being interviewed and Earnie running up to the camera and saying something like "We're going to the show baby - we're going to the show!"

It was even longer than that if you were living and watching it in a pub in Bristol.

:laughing5: :laughing5: Mind you if you were watching in the blue half of Bristol there might have been some passive support ;)
