Has anyone ever used recycled plastic for outside decking ?

If you did use it - what did you use for the foundation / frame it sites in ?

If you are referring to same as normal wood decking but made of plastic you would need clips that hold them together and to a wooden frame! I enquired about using them and clips were on the list of what is needed not sure how else can do it but sure can find alternative solutions.
Ps online videos of installing them are very informative....

Ive looked at online videos etc - what I wanted to know from anyone who has done it - did they use a timber frame with recycled plastic decking - or did they use recycled plastic for the frame as well.

Seems daft to me to use recycled plastic decks on to a wooden frame - as the wood will rot and the plastic wont. It seems better to use recycled plastic for everything , the cost of it seems a lot more expensive. Not sure whether the plastic looks a bit cheap and nasty - any opinions please

Its cost prohibitive I looked at it and decided to put slabs instead... as for looks when I saw it down its better with a modern looking house rather than a terraced 50s house !
