People often forget or are not aware) that one of Britain's strongest allies were the Sikhs and soldiers, airmen and sailors from all the groups above helped turn the tide of WWII

Let's not forget the Irish men who were prepared to put aside the disgusting way they and their ancestors had been treated and still lay down their lives for the free world

Aggree with the gurkhas, Sikh, Hindu but with all due respect Muslims hate our armed forces, our way of life and pretty sure were conscripted. I wonder how many Muslim families celebrated BE DAY

I take your point. I live in a highly populated Muslim area of cardiff and there are more than we might expect that are radicals. However there are so many that are lovely peaceful people who are a joy and a credit to cardiff s melting pot tradition

A Muslim friend of mine serving in the British Military doesn’t hate our armed forces and during recent operations in places such as Iraq and Afghanistan, he has been a valuable asset not just as a soldier, but also through interpreting messages. :thumbup:
