'Undervalued' Cardiff City striker to leave

Cardiff City striker Omar Bogle has claimed he's been 'unappreciated, undervalued and misjudged' as his Bluebirds career looks to be at an end.

Bogle has been on loan at Dutch side ADO Den Haag and his Cardiff contract is up ta the end of the season.

He will now move on during the summer and he's determined to show what he can do in the future.

He tweeted: "Unappreciated, undervalued and misjudged but the best of me is going to be someone’s treasure once again. I have the reigns on my life! #Maverick."

Bogle joined the Bluebirds in 2017 and has scored four league goals in 21 Championship appearances that included just six starts.

Sounds like someone over values himself

Well knowing several of the Wigan Athletic photographers, as I do up here, all I can say is that WAFC were more than happy to "offload" him onto us.

I actually thought he was a good striker who I would have liked to have seen given more game time and didn’t realise he’d scored 4 goals in just 6 starts. Judging by the comments however, I’m obviously consuming far too much alcohol prior to games.

Whilst understanding his frustration, if you’re going to make such a negative statement and bold claim, it would have been nice to have at least thanked the fans who have paid money to watch him for their support.

Somewhere there is a decent striker inside Omar Bogle but like many talented players who never quite make it his problem is reproducing his best on a consistent basis.

If he could knuckle down and stop listening to his over inflated opinion of himself and instead produce the goods he would at least be a half decent Championship striker.

6 months prior to signing for us he was in league 2..a year before that ,the national lge, and the one before that conference north...had an opportunity with us { along with wages } I would imagine he wouldn't have dreamed of achieving back then. didn't work out but he had another opportunity at Birmingham at this level and failed there too...seems jumping 4 divisions was too much and will find his level a little lower..
