If you were to suggest a weekly wage cap for championship players what would it be I would put it at a maximum of £10;000 a week so if they had a 5 year career would give them about around 2:5 million not bad and considering most would have more than a 5year career at this level
Opinions please

It goes to show that they are massively overpaid compared with NHS workers who are saving lives everyday.
The problem is that most will not want to drop to a capped rate of pay after the virus .You can’t blame them who would want work for less.
A cap of £10k a week is still a huge amount of money 520k a year. (wish my pensions were over 20k)that’s after working 48 years
If clubs are to survive the loss of income, many may fold if it lasts months without fans.
The clubs must change the wage structure of everyone or there will be no clubs to play for in the future.
Football just like any other business must work to a solid financial plan or go bust.

The problem with a wage cap is newly promoted sides to the Premier league will struggle to sign players because if they go straight back down their wage is capped at 10k.
