Lockdown until JUNE: Boris Johnson is set to dash hopes of an early end to coronavirus curbs as he gathers Cabinet for 'exit plan' talks with Nicola Sturgeon ALREADY ruling out loosening and ministers saying a second spike would be a 'disaster'


Boris Johnson is chairing the Cabinet meeting before heading the daily Downing Street briefing this evening

I donr think anyone is expecting Major changes, but should seen a plan for easing measurements, online with what's been told to big business I guess.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is due to lead the daily coronavirus briefing for the first time since his return to work, after chairing a cabinet meeting.

Ahead of the press conference, Mr Johnson urged UK businesses to "keep going" with lockdown measures.

No 10 said he would update the UK on the government's "steps to defeat" the disease from 17:00 BST.

The briefing will be shown live on BBC One Wales, the BBC News Channe
