Happy Birthday Captain Tom Moore 100 Today

In these difficult times the one person who has captured our hearts is Captain Tom Moore .

Captain Tom Moore, who has raised almost £30m for NHS charities by walking 100 laps of his garden, will celebrate his 100th birthday today .

The incredible exploits have captured the hearts of the nation and his efforts will be recognised on his landmark day with an RAF flypast.

Captain Tom is already assured of having a number one single in the UK charts when he turns 100 after his collaboration with Michael Ball hit the number one spot last Friday.

Captain Tom has message for Britain on his 100th birthday 'Our nation must stand TOGETHER'

PRIDE of Britain Captain Tom Moore has delivered a rousing message to Britain on his 100th birthday calling on us all to pull together to defeat coronavirus.

As the decorated war hero celebrates his landmark he promised the nation would see off the invisible enemy by standing firm and as one.
Capt Tom said: “As you will have come to know, I sincerely believe that we as a nation must always stand together, united and undivided by class, race or religion, and the only way we will defeat this invisible enemy is to stand shoulder to shoulder, and never walk alone.”

My Daughter Annaise is currently going out with Colonel Toms Grandson Max who is 19 years old the same as My Daughter they are. Both in Bristol Uni and that’s where they met .

I thought i would start the day with some Good News with Captain Moore 100 today - and now it's got better ...

Captain Moore as posted above is now Colonel Moore and he has now raised over 30 Million - Thanks to his efforts .

Latest - Freedom of City of London to be awarded

Captain Tom Moore will receive the Freedom of the City of London in recognition of his charitable work, it has been announced.

Captain Tom's appeal tops £31m on 100th birthday

Captain Tom Moore's appeal to raise vital funds for the NHS has topped £31m on his 100th birthday.

The war veteran, who raised the money by walking laps of his garden, has also been made an honorary colonel.

Earlier, his birthday was also marked with an RAF flypast and birthday greetings from the Queen and prime minister.

He said it was "extraordinary" to be turning 100, especially with "this many well-wishers".

Captain Tom Moore has 'wonderful' 100th birthday

Captain Tom Moore, who has raised more than £31m for the NHS by walking round his garden, has tweeted to say he has had a "wonderful" 100th birthday "full of well wishes, kindness and plenty of cake".

He adds: "Can't think of a better way to finish than clapping extra loudly for all the @NHSUK heroes who continue to do such a magnificant job for us all."
