POCH NEWCASTLE'S NO.1 CHOICE WITH £19M SALARY OFFER
Sky Sports
Mauricio Pochettino is Newcastle's prospective new owners' number one choice to be the next manager at St James' Park and they are willing to pay him £19m a year to take charge of the club.
The former Tottenham manager, out of work since last November, is keen on a return to the Premier League and is known to be interested in the role.
Steve Bruce will remain as manager until the end of the current campaign, although it remains unclear as to when that will be. The likelihood is that the Argentine would take charge once the season has concluded.
No decision from Pochettino or the Saudi-backed consortium is expected before the Premier League determines whether to allow the £300m takeover of the club from Mike Ashley.
Newcastle's prospective owners have been impressed by the rebuilding project carried out by Pochettino during his five-year tenure at Spurs, taking them to the Champions League final in 2019.

NEWCASTLE MAKE POCH PRIORITY
Mauricio Pochettino is the number one choice to be the next manager of Newcastle United and the club’s prospective owners are willing to pay the former Tottenham boss £19m a year to bring him to St. James’ Park.
Pochettino, out of work since his sacking at Spurs last November, is keen on a return to the Premier League and is known to be interested in the role.
Steve Bruce will remain as manager until the end of the current campaign, although when that will be, still remains unclear. The likelihood is that Pochettino would take over the reins once the season has concluded.
No decision from Pochettino or the Saudi-backed consortium is expected before the Premier League determines whether to allow the £300m takeover of the club from Mike Ashley.
Newcastle’s prospective owners have been impressed by the rebuilding project carried out by Pochettino during his time at Spurs and believe he is the perfect candidate to help transform Newcastle into one of Europe’s top clubs.
If the Pochettino deal falls through, former Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez is expected to return to St James’ Park.

If this is true I just despair
The whole world is going through a financial catastrophe and some rich new owners want to spend an obscene amount of money on a new manager
As I thought might happen football has learnt nothing from the past few months

Like ive said in previous threads and that I'm sure fans(Newcastle) would appreciate 400 pound ish season tickets. But no, lets spend the money on players, wages, agents and managers like Pouch. F.. the fans as usual I bet we rarely come up in a conversation.
Greedy bas..... the lot of them. Enough is enough you greedy bast enough is enough. I know im starting to bore people with this theme but times like this remind me how much we have been taken granted for by football clubs and big corps.
As for politicians they can shove tbeir claps and care badges for the NHS cause 99% of voted against pay rises fir them.
