It was reported at the time of building,that it would house patients at both ends of the spectrum,ie people who are tested positive and showing symtoms, to those at the other end,who are recovering,but still need care,thus freeing up space,although as posted above,the heath intensive care and high dependency wards are running at 40% capacity so far,makes perfect sense to me.
