You also need to read my posts properly, if that is the only thing (in your response above) you can cling to, i.e. agreeing 'wage caps' would be a useful tool isn't the same as whingeing at every opportunity about how you're being 'ripped off' for your season and/or cup tickets
This may sound odd (to you) but clubs are effectively businesses these days (you actually allude to that) and drawing in crowds and finance is a wholly necessary part there of
But there is a balance and that is to say that there is a point at which some supporters won't accept what they have to pay for what is on offer
For your £150 season tickets (to include 'free' cup games) to become a reality, there has to be a trade-off, i.e. limited transfer markets, players on lower wages, journeyman manager, etc., etc.
We don't live in an ideal world (as this wretched virus will attest) and currently the market forces and personal ambitions of some owners (rather than clubs) are such that little will change; so the simple choice (as sad as it is for some) is to pay up or stay home

Just keeping sticking up for the greedy bas... and keep clapping like a circus seal . Things will never change because the great majority of the British public just suck it up.
