Just said that The Uk have got it wrong with their lockdown, science etc as the numbers of deaths are the second worst in the World.

So many kept arguing that Uk knew better than the rest of the world and were right to listen

Our half arsed lockdown will not work. People out and about often unnecessarily.

Pretty sure it's been discussed before. But there is so much that needs to be taken in to consideration...

The main one is population size. Let alone density, lifestyles, general health, testing, I could carry on!

Deaths per capita is the best way of defining the point you are trying to make and the UK is 5th on the list.

You simply can't compare total deaths.

Isn't Chad doing well with only 46 confirmed cases?

Yemen, 0.03 percent of population. Aren't they all doing well?

I have family in Spain and they tell me Spain are not counting Care home deaths which I thought they were According to the Guardian newspaper it seems to confirm this stating Spanish government only asked for care home deaths on 8 April and Madrid and Barcelona will add 7500 to totals and still 17 regionals have not done any returns Also says Spain is only including deaths whet people have positive test
I hope this is not true as there has been enough deaths and with UK at least 3 weeks behind god knows what it will be like here

The majoirt of countries numbers arnt real.... Spain for instance, if they were to add in suspected cases not just those tested.. Their number would be alot higher too.

Spain started including the care homes deaths late and only started including them from the 1 April 2020

Catalonia and Madrid are now releasing figures that include the deaths of elderly people in care homes who displayed virus symptoms but were not tested. This is in line with changing practices in some countries, including Belgium. At present the official nationwide death toll in Spain, as with many other countries, includes only proven cases of the virus.

Some regions like the Balearic Islands and the Canaries included the deaths from early March.

Name,shame,fine and community service.

Are different countries putting putting different causes of death for different things?

A man my mum knows died with it In his system. But was on his death bed with lung cancer. Cause of death = Covid. One more for the stats.

There is also a large care home local to me that has seen 9 Covid deaths. This time last year, in the same time period 13 residents died of other causes.

Salford, with very pro-active testing in care homes, only show a rate of 20% of care home deaths as being Covid-19.

I'll say it again... Why let the truth get in the way of a bit of hysteria.

The only stats the doomers can come up with is Piers tweets.

With this data so unreliable, its probably just a case of wait and see, and even then we'll probably never know.
As for Piers Morgan, I thought it was generally accepted the man was a fool.

If as you say Annis, that catalonia and Madrid are releasing figures that include deaths of elderly people in care homes,who displayed symptoms, but we're not even tested,the it proves the figures are being manipulated there in spain,pretty much as I and others believe is happening here,there is a massive difference between dying of covid 19,and dying with it,because IF you believe the news,it's crazy that people haven't twigged that this is no Spanish flu,now they including stomach discomfort as a possible sign of it!! And scientists in Italy are finding traces of it in the pollution there in bergamot, and Rome? ? Even saying heart symptoms could also be a sign,I mean ffs people are shitting,so nows the time to up the ante, roll out a few more symptoms to let Joe public worry even more!! The government has let the NHS down badly,try and watch last night's panorama programme,absolutely disgusting behaviour, and lies about what a doctor describes as NOT ppe,yet the government has included it in the figures they spout,to cover up their own severe failings regarding getting prepared in February, as the evidence was overwhelming, it was coming,orders of robes,not being robes even! With the government's poor handling,people are suffering! But we are not that far ahead of a flu season death rate,not as the government wants us to believe,that every death all of a sudden is covid 19???? Not for me I'm sorry.

The whole sad episode has been made up of lies and twisting things in the UK and I have no doubt that could be happening in other countries.
