Anyone know if the post is still being delivered to homes in Cardiff?

No sign of a postman in my area in Pontprennau for over a week now.

Have they stopped all deliveries to houses at the moment?

They are in Canton mate.. it’s sort of once a week tho..

Seems to be a depleted service but mail still arriving in my area. However, I've noticed that their parcel delivery drivers are currently not delivering to certain businesses, if not all and insisting they go collect any mail from the Collection Depots

Other delivery companies seem to be working as normally as is possible

Pontprennau hasn't been up long enough to be considered for post services,not a proper part yet.

they are extremely busy and short of postmen.. I know their union were trying to get reduced deliveries { not every day } because the average letters per home had increased so much.. not sure whether any agreement was made..

They've managed to get reduced deliveries around here whatever their union said - they've reduced it to no deliveries!

Would have thought that the numbers of post items would have gone down with so many people working from home and sending mail electronically but on the other hand I suppose people are using the post more for social purposes than work at the moment.

I guess if a postie who normally delivers to a particular area is off they probably don't have anybody available to cover that particular area hence a massive backlog builds up.

my best friends brother is a manager with them and told me this about 2 weeks ago { so might have changed } but his words were its like the worse day of xmas every day... have to say im not getting much mail .. maybe its parcels that's knocking the numbers up ?
