British Tourists going to the Canaries may have to prove they are coronavirus-free and have their movements tracked by an app under New proposals.

I don't think they will have many takers, polls have shown brits are very reluctant to jump on a plane until the vaccine is ready?

They will... There will be many changes to airports and aircraft over the comming weeks, to help ease the fear. Once the media changes their narrative, ppl will soon calm down and head abroad (if they can afford it)

Any poll taken at the height of the outbreak, is not going to be impartial

Agree that some people will want to travel and go on holidays regardless of what restrictions are put on them

However, there are going to be a hell of a lot more who are going to give it a miss until there is a treatment/ vaccine

I myself have no intention of flying anywhere anytime soon. Give it 12 months and my outlook will probably change but it won’t be for a while yet.

my issue at the moment would be what awaits you...all sorts of restrictions , gloves, masks and social distancing isn't what I go away for..

Totally agree it just won’t be worth it probably for at least the next 12 months. Travel companies and hoteliers etc in big, big trouble
