PETER KAY MAKES TV APPEARANCE AFTER 2 YEARS

Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:15 pm

The legendary actor who for many years entertained millions on worldwide Television with the likes of Phoenix Nights and Max And Paddy's Road To Nowhere among various of other notable programmes but after watching the BBC show tonight he did not look that well. And no one knows for sure what's been going on with him for 2 years or more. All I am saying is that I hope that he is well but if he is not then I hope he recovers from whatever illness he has.

Also earlier on David Walliams and Matt Lucas brought back the popular Little Britain which I thought was really good. And further Little Britain is going to be made for a TV return at some point this year and have discussed it being on Netflix. Either way it was a good night for the BBC.

The BBC's Big Night In charity special has raised more than £27m.

A number of stars joined forces for the three-hour event to help raise money for charities across the UK that are helping people affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Peter Kay and Catherine Tate took part as did the Duke of Cambridge, who appeared in a surprise sketch with Stephen Fry.
