La Liga have told all its clubs to prepare to play games without any fans until 2021.
La Liga's clubs have been told that football matches in Spain will be played behind closed doors until 2021, multiple sources have confirmed to ESPN.
The decision -- which is yet to be formally announced -- has been made by the Spanish government, taking into account the expected evolution of the coronavirus pandemic.
The expectation is that stadiums will gradually re-open under strict safety measures from January 2021 to try to avoid a new outbreak of COVID-19, and may not operate at full capacity until a vaccine is available.
The decision will be kept under review and would be re-evaluated in the event of the virus coming under control more quickly than expected, or the development of successful treatments.

seems to be one of these announcements from someone or other every day...
truth is governments will dictate social distancing measures not football authorities or clubs... so why they bother beats me..

Have to agree with you both, what I don't get is how are they going to manage social distancing with the 22 players on the pitch,they can hardly stay 2 metres apart
perhaps next season it will be cctv passes instead of a season ticket so we get to stream all the home games,I mean does anyone know what the capacity would be if and when football re starts? How many seats around a fan would need to be empty to follow social distancing rule? As it would mean 2 metres in every direction,quite a lot of empty seats would be my guess,maybe a third of capacity?

All clubs seem afraid to admit that there will be no football this year.
