FROM THIS COMING SUNDAY 26TH APRIL 2020 :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Spanish Govt finally listens to families after 44 days of not allowing a single child out of their front door

SPANISH GOVT:

Breaking News!!. Regulations for children going outside.

Thursday 23rd April 2020

Vice President of the Spanish Government Pablo Iglesias, and Health Minister Salvador Illa, have made a press conference this morning. Here are the main points:

Children up to 14 years old can go out once a day, one hour, maximum 1 kilometre. From 9am to 9pm. You must avoid the busiest hours. They will be allowed with an accompanying adult, who may be an older sibling. Three siblings can go out together respecting the distance of two meters. They will not be able to use public parks.

Illa adds that the accompanying sibling will have to be over 14 years old. Those from 14 years and up, will be able to go out to the supermarket, etc.

Iglesias explains that it depends on each community of neighbours whether they can use community areas without other children, or not.
Babies in prams may also be taken out for walks.

Iglesias comments that masks will not be obligatory for children but recommended.

AFTER 10 MILLION SPANISH SIGN THIS :thumbright:

One of the SPANISH ministers presented this to the SPANISH President Sánchez, signed by over 10mill people :thumbright: :thumbright:

After more than 40 days without going out, where our children have been undervalued in all their rights and still have accepted the situation.
Situation with many social differences ... because a small house with land - which most of our leaders will have - is not the same as a shared room in subhuman conditions or an apartment with patio views 24 hours a day.
We are told that on the 27th the children will be able to go outside. Imagine the illusion of children to take a race and notice the wind on their faces.
And they go now and rectify that they can only go shopping ... But let's see, gentlemen leaders of this country full of intelligent people who cannot plan an organization of 30-minute walks from 5 to 6, the peer portals and 6 to 7 odd ones.
Sure that EVERYONE CAN find the solution !! But of course what is not feasible is to take a child to a supermarket to touch the products, the shelves or even suck the cart as we have seen in some WhatsApp.
Therefore, I encourage you all to sign this petition. So that the Government realizes that it is playing with us and cannot afford it !!
For the children who are the great forgotten ones !!!

Children to be allowed to play outside in Spain

By the time children under 14 are allowed out of their homes again on Sunday, Spain's lockdown will have been in place for six weeks.

The government has now given details of how it'll work under a so-called 1-1-1 rule. Up to three children will be allowed out with one responsible adult for one hour and for up to 1km (0.6 miles) from their home.

Most families live in flats so for the 6.8 million children involved this is a big moment. They'll be allowed to run, carry toys and a ball, and carry a scooter, between 0900 and 2100. But parks and playgrounds will stay out of bounds and social distancing will have to continue.

The government initially said children could only go to the shops with their parents but they relented when faced with a chorus of criticism and now say running, jumping and exercising will be allowed too.

The IHME predicts no more fatalities after 20th May

A study carried out by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington in Seattle has produced a forecast that the first day on which no Covid-19 deaths will be recorded in Spain will be 20th May.
The IHME is compiling data regarding the coronavirus pandemic from all over the world, including not only the number of confirmed cases and fatalities but also the health service resources in each country and even each region. In the case of Spain the projection is that by Monday 27th April, when children are to be allowed out of their homes for a limited time every day, the daily death toll will have fallen to below 200, before dropping into double figures on 30th April and then, from 10th May onwards – in just over two weeks’ time – to below 10.

These targets may seem a long way off at present – the latest daily update on Wednesday, summarizing the figures for Tuesday, included 435 more fatalities – but the forecasting model has not been wildly inaccurate in comparison with the reality in Spain in recent days. On Monday the prediction was for 456 deaths while the Ministry of Health reported 399 and on Tuesday the forecast of 412 was slightly lower than the actual figure of 430, although on Wednesday the reported death toll of 435 was significantly higher than the 367 expected by the IHME.
