I see that the new hospital facilities at the Principality Stadium were opened by Big Ears Charlie the other day (remotely of course).
Any idea how many people are being treated there at the moment?

Ive heard at the moment they dont need it and staff are being moved back to hospitals which is great news of course.
It seems those who stuck to the Gov advise have helped keep the NHS getting overrun, lets hope it stays that way.

That’s brilliant news.
The government has rightly had some stick recently but credit where credits due they didn’t hang about with the temp hospitals being put up.
Hopefully they won’t be needed as much as originally thought.

Hopefully all the extra beds and equipment that have been provided will be available to the NHS when the initial crisis has passed as it may well be needed for the massive increase in health problems which is anticipated for the foreseeable future.
And of course the other prediction is for wave after wave of this virus returning for years to come so hopefully the investment made in the equipment will not be wasted.

It has 335 beds ready to go at the moment with a capacity of over 1500. First patients are expected to move there early next week although there is still capacity in UHW and UHL
