The trouble is Annis, some people are hanging on to the little positives to date,I'm out doing deliveries 3 days a week, and if I'm truthful, barely a policeman/woman to be seen,so these people hanging around in parks, sunbathing or playing football are not being challenged often enough, surely they could do regular checks on the parks? And as I mentioned on another thread, I have seen both NHS staff and police breaking the social distancing rule whilst in queues for shops! ! There are always the one's who will push the boundaries no matter what so called rules are in place,I have been for walks (excersise ) over the woods, and hardly see a soul, the majority of morons I see on my rounds, are the youth, who are ferel n places, and know no boudaries, and no offence to any race in particular, but the foreign contingent seem to be the ones who don't respect the social distancing rule,I've come across many in the last 2 weeks or so who flatly flout it! And a lot with gloves and masks on too,who seem to think that gives them the right to do as they please, and please,no calling me racist,as that's not the case,as we also have fools who believe it doesn't include them either!! With the police here being as lax as they are,it's happening more and more,my wife hasn't been to the shops until yesterday, and the experience she encountered, means she won't be doing it again!! Are some people really that ignorant,or is it cabin fever with some??![]()

I think the problem is that you appear to be singling out the UK as a population that isn't following the guidelines, whereas we all know that it happens in all societies.
Currently there have been more prosecutions in Spain for breaching the lockdown than the UK (see links below). Unfortunately there are idiots in all countries, luckily they are a tiny minority in almost all (except the US![]()
).
As many have said on here, Cardiff in particular does seem to be complying with the city absolutely dead in terms of traffic. But even here police have had to be on their toes to clear groups from places like Roath Rec, etc. I know colleagues were saying that they were worried about Newport last week as the traffic around the town seemed to be quite busy but I don't know if that has improved this week.
It just demonstrates you can't base your assessment of how the lockdown is working on the levels of compliance where you live.

Well the the Majority of the UK are very law abiding citizens.
But the minority really do stand out and spoil it.
In 38 days I have not seen from where I live an under 18 yr old in the streets or families walking about or congregating or being chased by police .
I honestly believe in Spain and Italy there is more Respect for people and their elders.
When the lockdown came in force by the Spanish Govt, guess who were still acting like idiots?
Middle aged men & women in Benidorm live on tv with trollies of alcohol singing and congregating anywhere they could even though a pure lockdown was on and they were continuously told to go back to their hotels , but still acted like idiots and yes they weee my fellow British people it was embarrassing over here in tv live in Spanish and English channels .
You must of seen it?
Cardiff City Centre is perfect as it’s 98% closed down![]()
It might be illegal in Spain this lockdown but we are still abiding by it as it’s helping to save life’s![]()

No problem with any of your comments. But I would point out that I put think link up about the Spanish lockdown not for the legality point but for the fact it contains the number of Spanish people who have been prosecuted for breaching the lockdown, which is higher than the prosecutions for the same thing in UK.

But don’t you think this is because the Spanish authorities quite rightly have come down a lot sterner on people ignoring the lockdown rules
