Coronavirus: Michigan protesters defy stay-at-home order
Workers blocked roads, demanding the state reopen after Governor Gretchen Whitmer extended stay-at-home restrictions.

There are 27,000 Covid-19 cases in Michigan, where more than 1,700 have died from the virus.

People have often made jokes about Irish people for being stupid, but I can see Michigan people taking their place.

Yup. They’d have to be pretty stupid. If it wasn’t so serious I’d probably laugh at it.

There’s actually a book called ‘ Irish in Michigan ‘, describing immigration into the Great Lakes area.

In my limited experience of Americans they can be split into two categories, those without a passport who’ve no idea of the World outside the US and those who’ve travelled. The Michigan retards will fall into the former grouping.

That's whay you get when the country has a president like they have.

I really hope he's now right about the US having reached their peak (unlike when he predicted everything would be resolved by Easter  ). I have my doubts and if he's too quick to release the shackles the numbers of deaths they've seen so far will pale into insignificance compared to what will then hit them.

Whether he's right or wrong he's gambling with the lives of his population.

I agree, there is a growing view around the World that lockdown are now causing more harm than good. I would imagine this view will only grow, there are a lot of spoilt people who are also thick and have no stomach for a fight, or the slightest little hardship!

I agree, from when I had a home out there. I was once asked where I was from, I said "Wales in the UK" and was asked "Is that near Michigan?"

arnt they all gambling.... its how many corvid patients they can save against how many people who ordinarily would need treatment now not getting adequate treatment...its not so easy...best part of 3 million americans die in a normal year ,at present the corvid death rate is 1% of that and 80% of that 300k had a life expectancy of 12 months or less anyway...

It's Covid mate. Corvid is a member of the crow family ! I made the same mistake at the beginning of this outbreak.

The problem with America opening up is trump will put pressure in other countries to lift travel bans and then the chaos will begin....as Jesse J said...it’s all about the money....

I honestly think trump would settle for 100,000 deaths as the original prediction was between 1-2million ..

So these fools are a bigger danger than just to the USA
