EFL CLUBS IN CRISIS

Wed Apr 15, 2020 7:28 pm

A bunch of EFL clubs are in crisis and are days away from Bankruptcy. A League 1 Team Chairman are considering cancelling all players contracts from the team. As time moves on clubs will need to make drastic action to survive but I very much doubt that when football eventually returns we will have the full 71 EFL clubs intact. I expect a few clubs sadly going after the lack of funding and the individual situations within the lower league clubs.

Whats your thoughts on the EFL and the lower league teams suffering?

Newport County furlough boss and players

Newport County have furloughed their players, management team and staff because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The League Two club say they have made the move to protect their "long term financial viability".

All pubs should do the same regardless of size of contract and player
