Dundee have voted in favour of the proposals to end the Scottish lower-league season, the SPFL has confirmed.

The Championship club's change of heart means city rivals Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers are champions of their respective divisions.

The SPFL has not said if those sides will be promoted and if Partick Thistle and Stranraer will be relegated.

But it did confirm they will launch a taskforce to explore an expanded Premiership for next season.

Hearts chairman Ann Budge and Les Gray of Hamilton Academical will lead it, and will be joined by "other football figures to provide input and support".

Shocking. To early to make a decision like that. It's looking likely with the peak flattening out that behind closed doors games could easily start being played in 3/4 weeks time. They have gone to early and its massively unfair on the relegated teams

They say they have done this to release money to keep going Clubs which otherwise could have folded. Let's see if the same happens to the SPL clubs meaning Celtic are crowned Champions and Hearts are relegated. I think Rangers and Hearts will have something to say about that!

There is zero chance of football returning in 3 to 4 weeks when massive field hospitals Are going up across the country and 800 are dead per day. Lockdown until end of July then maybe football re start end of Aug.

I think Scotland made a wise move start next season fresh.
