Irresponsible!!

Sat Apr 11, 2020 10:53 am

My son in law works in a local authority EH department and has just had a call out as there are a few small premises open when they shouldn’t be.
He didn’t give details over the phone but said that it was difficult enough to keep people indoors this weekend anyway without businesses being ‘open as usual’.

Sad to say, but I'm not surprised :sad7: been rumours of pubs opening back rooms, the pictures from all over yesterday, the amount of people I have seen today, just ambling around, not doing anything deemed as exercise, takeaways not adhering to social distance rules, all to make a buck! I'm sure we can do without take aways offering a walk in service, make it delivery only,no need to have doors open, problem solved.only 1300 fines issued in the country so far, while Germany,France spain and Italy are in the tens of thousands, and a couple around 200,000!!,the rules must be tougher, £60 hasn't stopped morons from using a mobile at the wheel, these same morons will not be put off with similar for breaching guidelines, get tough on both imho, caught using phone, instant 12 month ban as standard, breaching guidelines on covid 19, £500 fine, and if unemployed 6 months community service at a hospital, and not a couple of hours a week either,a full 40 hours minimum week.caught a 2nd time, double,if you are a key worker, make the fine double, and community service at weekends.sounds a bit harsh? Not in my eyes. :old: :bluebird:

Good post mate.
Have you seen the video of the woman in Basingstoke telling off the youngsters gathered at a park. Awful that they are so brain dead to be doing it but good for her for giving them a right b@llocking. She said some like ‘my husband is working double shifts in the hospital while you lot are out here breaking the rules. Why do you think you’re different to anyone else?’
After throwing a few insults to her they soon moved off but the sad thing is that they’ll go somewhere else. I think people are so pi$$ed off with these idiots that they will challenge them more and more often.
