We're all in this together apparently.
Many hundreds of thousands of people have been furloughed, taken pay cuts or lost their jobs completely. Government ministers have criticised footballers for refusing to take a massive pay cut.
And yet MPs (current salary almost £82,000 per year) have each been given an extra £10,000 to "enable" them to work from home.
Try asking your boss for £10,000 to help you work from home and see what reply you get.
Talk about out of touch with the population. We've seen politicians who have personally flouted the rules on social distancing and who would no doubt have continued doing so if they hadn't been caught and now it seems as if MPs will be benefitting financially from this crisis.
Let's see how many of these MPs refuse to accept the extra £10,000 or donate it all to the NHS.
