And all MP's got a £10,000 expense for working at home whilst nurses continue to graft on the front line for pittance.

Man this government got you lot smitten. Boris thinks the working class are scum. Let's not let that get in the way of his little thanks to the NHS speeches. I honestly hope he recovers well. But the guys a tw*t.

Re: Boris get well soon

Oh yeah, the Independent have just reported that 3 nurses who used BINBAGS for PPE have just tested positive for the virus. The Tories have been crippling our health service for ten years.

The hospitals cant even afford a different mop for each ward to prevent the spread of germs from one ward to the next.

But yes don't forget to clap for Boris and his elitist chumbs as they send empty praise to the NHS as they cackle from their high towers, 10k in pocket.

I totally disagree with you , I think you will find Boris is more for the working class than any other previous Conservative PM :thumbright: :thumbright:

Surely the man deserves to be judged at the end of his time .

Plus how come so many working class voted for him if he is that bad and also why did he get resounding victory, smashed labour and that was thanks to many of the working class :thumbright: :thumbright:

Annis because the Tories have genuinely managed to coax the working class into thinking they give a shit.

Have you read some of the things Boris has said about the working class in the past Annis? And the "low paid" people etc.

I think we can agree on one thing - let's hope the Tories wake up and make the NHS what it SHOULD be after all this.

They should be well paid, well looked after and well respected. They have been anything but that. They tried to voice their worries for years, but it fell on deaf ears. But what a surprise, the elitist bubble is now under fire and all of a sudden they find the funds.

100% agree with you , the Frontline workers and NHS should be well looked after when this is all over and I will be the first to condemn Boris if he does not :thumbright:

Frontline must be the ones that get any reward grim this. Welsh assembly must ensure that the ££ goes directly to the right place Personally I wouldn’t trust them with my grandkids money boxes.
Also, the NHS has struggled for funding for as long as I remember, and that includes during LABOUR governments too. Easy to promise the world when you’re not in power. That’s how the public saw through Corbyn and his gang.

For the record, I’m so pleased BJ seems to be on the mend and I’d be equally pleased if it was the country’s leader from ANY party.

Tbh it’s going to be so difficult as we’re going to be paying for this awful time for a few years - taxes are bound to rise and there’s an inevitability about it that I’m sort of ok with.
I hope that the front line are rewarded though.
I know it would never happen but if the government stated that as well as all the expected tax rises, we’re going to all be paying an extra 1p in the £ to cover the rise for our fantastic frontline staff etc etc. I’m sure that there’d be no complaints.

The post makes no sense. Just because the furlough scheme was a good one doesnt mean the rest of the Covid strategy is beyond reproach. It's just silly tbh.

The government has responded slowly and hasnt been anywhere near firm enough. Till this day the nhs is short on PPE which has led to numerous deaths. This fanatical thought process of if you dont like the good then just take the bad is bizarre. It's fine to question the leadership of a political leader. To say otherwise is massively divisive and suggest a fear of critical thought. Hes not a messiah.

Good - whereas we have reached an all time high in our death count and we have newspapers talking about what films Boris is watching and the fact he waved goodbye to NHS staff when he left. It really would be comical if it wasnt so terrifying.

Re: Boris get well soon

While Boris gets better and starts watching films!! This is the present reality of Coronavirus. Something his Westminster Government could have eased had he acted sooner. Remember 'taking it on the chim' 'herd immunity?'

The reality kind of brings it home.

The mathematics of Covid-19 daily DEATH TOLL of 980 yesterday (10/4)

Five Herald Of Free Enterprises
Seven Aberfans
Ten Hillsboroughs
More people have died this week of COVID-19 in UK than throughout 30 years of the :Troubles' in Northern Ireland.

Under Westminster arrogance and negligence UK is now 10% of TOTAL WORLD COVID19 cases

Westminster policies are literally killing thousands of people. While I hope he gets better like any fellow man unfortunately the buck stops with him.

Priti Patel doesn't give any specific timings, but says: "We want him to get better and he needs the time and space to rest, recuperate, and recover."
