There was a fully packed street market in Ammanford yesterday within a stones throw of a police station
Plus today more idiots out
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=213752 Those total Morons

Brits are once again flouting UK coronavirus lockdown rules by gathering in parks, cycling in groups and enjoying the warm weather.

Perhaps we should be telling these people who are cautioned or charged for failing to act responsibly that they shouldn't expect treatment from the NHS who've the helped to overwhelm. Over course that cant happen but it does make you feel that if they did do that it would pull a lot more in line.

Last week you said Barry Island was packed and it was actually closed. A couple of dog walkers only.
It might well have been. But please check sources before spreading what could be rumours. We all have a responsibility and spreading fake news is being as harmful as people ignoring advice in these times.
Barry island when it was open was packed, then they rightly shut it a few days later.
I saw all the photos and know people who live down there.
And yes there are idiots out all over the place.
SO NO I DONT MAKE BULLSHIT UP /MAYBE YOU DO /quote]
Last week there was a post, Barry Island was packed. Myself and a couple of others proved it was indeed fake news.
I'm only asking that things are correctly sourced. 'Not just my mate told me'

Jim, I have now been in total lockdown now for 21 days, not even allowed to walk the streets here and yes I was upset with your comments.
My 19 yr daughter is back in Cardiff and I want her over here, but can't she is at a friends, she has not been out once either and I want her safe.
And yes there are pure idiots in the UK
I have not heard or seen one teenager going out over here and I look out over Santa Ponsa.

I know YOU wouldn't. But as a scientist I'll always question the source.
Hope things are improving over there?
We're about to find out how sensible people are in this country... I don't hold much faith.

Porsche driver stopped about an hour from home
North Wales Police say a motorist from Shropshire faces court after he was stopped in his Porsche by police in Bala.
The force says he has been reported under the coronavirus legislation and will be dealt with by the court.

Got to be honest, my neighbours have done my head in the last few days, they have been in and out 4-5 times a day in their cars, obviously I know them so no they have no reason to be doing it, that's on top of them walking the dog twice a day, I'm tempted to cheekily ask them if everything is 'ok' as I have seen them out and about quite a lot but the last thing I need is to fall out with people.
And before anyone says are you spying on them or something, I'm all set up working from home and can see all the comings and goings through the front window
Having said that, the vast majority of people here are still being pretty good.

It's a fine line and too easy for 'others' to say
"Go and tell them!" but that's not always so easy to do for the obvious reasons you stated, i.e. you have to live there after the event
People really need to take responsibility for themselves and those close to them. If we all did that, it would be easy to police and no one would have reason to fall out
Sadly, we know the world (and modern UK) doesn't work like that and there are those out there who feel 'entitled' and believe 'the rules is for everyone else'
THIS WEEKEND, STAY HOME, STAY SAFE AND REMEMBER YOUR HOME'S NOT A PRISON, IT'S A SAFE HAVEN!

My thoughts exactly mate.
Selfish idiots would soon clear the streets then.

I think that’s the only way. People nowadays just aren’t responsible and caring.
But after the lockdown finished and it starts again will there be another lockdown?

All over the news saying the police and government are happy today that people have been social distancing tho and seem to be listening, I think people are generally not crowded together like normal

Cyclists. By and large ride around ignoring the highway code. Why should they listen to extreme advice re Covid spread?

With respect to the market in Ammanford, does anyone know, what was actually on sale ? If it’s open for food products and other essential items, than as far as I know, that is still allowed, although I don’t agree with it. The Tuesday market in Barry was shut down the day after the lockdown but mainly because some stalls were selling non essential goods, so it was all shut down on the day.

Ammanford Police have their own twitter page, and there's nothing on there about this?

Robert Bartlett:
Today in St Mellons area police were kept active chasing stolen cars around the area, but failed to catch the culprits although did get a car back. In the same area members of the Romany community were gathered in crowds racing pony and traps around the fields, apparently police did not attend. It was on the Trowbridge and Rumney fb page but has now disappeared I would imagine because of comments made about Romany community.
