BLESS THE NHS!

Sat Apr 04, 2020 1:19 am

Evening everyone, firstly let me say,I hope you are all well and staying safe? But thought I'd ask posters to maybe give thanks to the wonderful NHS staff, for treatment received from this sacred service we are so lucky to have, I will start,in late summer 2012,I was involved in a serious rtc,and suffered snapped c6/c7 vertebrae, causing a shard of bone to present into my spinal chord,I was given emergency surgery, to remove the bits of bone, and a laminectomy of both bones,to allow the spinal chord room to swell, anyway enough about me,the care and treatment over the next 3 yrs during my recovery, was 1st class, and although I have damage to nerves, which affects my right side, without their exemplary work,I was a trip away from paralysis from the neck down! So from me to ALL THE NHS WORKERS,FROM CLEANERS TO THE SURGEONS,a massive thank you, without your help,my life would have been an awful lot worse.               :old: :bluebird:

Massive shout out to all NHS workers - cleaners, caterers, porters etc. You’re all heroes!

Absolutely agree. These selfless individuals need to be applauded for their ONGOING dedication.
It has taken this unimaginable crisis to finally demonstrate what heroes they truly are.
Most people would agree that the jobs the NHS carry out are life saving.
Although the vast majority find their calling to help others, I'm sure now the financial rewards so long denied them must now be reviewed.
