Jeremy Corbyn

Fri Mar 27, 2020 12:10 pm

Jeremy Corbyn said in a BBC interview that he was right all along about increased public spending due to what the government are spending during the coronavirus crisis.
Does this idiot not realise that the government are being forced to 'borrow' billions of pounds to get us through this crisis!
This country could well face a debt for many years, but a price we have to pay, unfortunately.
It is spending of an unprecedented amount in a major crisis!
It seems Corbyn would have, in normal times spent this money anyway!
Good riddance Corbyn. You would have been an economic disaster for this country had you got in power!

My sentiments exactly mate.
He’s saying he was right all along - that’ll make everyone a lot happier. Tw@t!!
We’ll be paying for this in our taxes for years and I got one am happy to do it.
No doubt whoever is in charge of the opposition will be complaining about it though.

There is no way, thankfully, that that dinosaur and his equally dated fanatics would have risen to govern this country.
He was a throwback to the disastrous 70's.
He relished his 15 minutes of Fame and can now disappear back to the non entity he has always been.
Trying to score political points at this crucial time for the nation INSTEAD of offering support sums him up.

Lets take Corbyn's view point at facevalue.

He would have done nothing about the previous financial problem, didnt care about the debt or the deficit.
He would have spent his way out of it - his words and John McDonald's.
So 10 years after 2008 - he would have hoped that by spending public money it would have been repaid in taxes as companies have grown etc. He doesnt realise that companies have very effgective ways of avoiding tax - see Google, FaceBook, Starbucks, Apple and just about every other large Corp.

So roll on to 2020 - we are hit by a problem that is NOT of our making - and to protect the whole country of from going bust - we have to inject possibly 330 billion temporarily into the economy to keep us ticking over till it's peaked etc.

We would be in a much much much worse position had he been in charge for the last 10 years.

I fully get the point re the banks and dont believe the trickle down method as used did not work correctly.

Given the choices on offer to lead the country through this and everything else on the horizon - I would choose Johnson over Corbyn.

The country are only doing this as they need to keep things going, Corbyn wanted to put the country 300 billion in debt on purpose as a matter of his principles. The man is a fool, the nasty party has been redefined under him as the ones in red.
Grandpa needs to grow a pair and go sit on his allotment while the grownups try and work things out - in my opinion.
