Dare we say it, Wez; our club shouldn't be one of them thanks to the debt-reducing policy of a certain benefactor

Sven, hopefully we will ride this out, but even the most biased on here will see that will be down to the prudence shown by the board.
( I doubt it though )

Tan has said more than once his aim is a debt free club running within it's means. It could be that his prudent and sensible approach will ensure our long term future. Plenty of fans were happy to gamble with his money and hope to spend a fortune to give us an outside chance of promotion while Tan is more concerned with the long term future rather than looking no further than May. Perhaps that explains why he is a successful businessman with enough cash to buy the club in the first place. Our long term future should be about more than where we finish this season, and hopefully his measures will ensure we have a long term future. Personally, I don't feel he has done much wrong here other than the red shirt fiasco, and I would rate him as the best owner of this club since I became a fan in 1966.

Agreed, best owner I’ve seen in my time since 1988.
I remember him saying when he first arrived he wanted to make Cardiff City known worldwide. If I was to pick a positive from the awful red rebrand situation, it certainly afforded us publicity on a global scale. Having reflected, I often wonder if that was the plan all along from a clever businessman, although I was angry at the time.
