Neil Harris:

Sat Feb 29, 2020 6:23 pm

Cardiff manager Neil Harris said:

"We showed character to come from two goals behind. We gave a soft goal away for the first goal and it was a great free-kick for the second.

"We were a little bit nervous about their qualities as an attacking team, but we weren't aggressive enough for my liking. We found our way back into the game by forcing our way higher up the pitch, forced some turnovers and scored a really good goal with some great build-up play that finished with a great cross and header.

"Then we started to really play, we caused them problems. I'm delighted with Joe Ralls to come back after such a long time out and get the goal.

"Second half we should have stepped on the gas, but we turned the ball over too easily. Then we countered and came on strong, Brentford had a lot of the ball, but when we put them under pressure we created chances and we certainly had the better of the chances."

His signings have been excellent and also impressed by his ability to improve and pick Nelson, Tomlin, Smithies and Vaulks. Thats been an added bonus .Some people on here ought to engage their brain before shooting there gob off.Given the right amount of time he will turn us around.

Speculation is guesswork when you've nothing to go on.I am commenting on my observations.

It must take alot of practice to be a mong of your stature.Do you ever think before you type?

Probably put more thought into my posts than city did in hiring the current manager

‘Who is available, cheap, likely to not argue about funds as he’ll be happy having the biggest job of his career?’

‘Russell...’

‘No the fans will turn we can’t go back there’

‘Oh Neil Harris in that case’

‘Done’

he is defo a cheap option.. but who exactly do you think they would bring in next should they have a rush of blood and sack him ?
my guess would be. available, cheap, likely to not argue and happy with no funds as its the biggest job he will get.. and probably not as good as Harris..

Harris needs yo sort out the slow starts that has plagued City for most of the season after all he's been in charge long enough to sort this problem out unless of course he is sending them out there with instructions to play that way
