What has Neil Harris said?
Cardiff have only gained one point from their last three games.
“It's not going to define the season as an individual game. With 10 games to go after Saturday. It becomes all the more important because of the last two results, the two defeats.
"Tuesday night was hard to take given that it was a strong performance on the back of a disappointing performance at Stoke. So it's vitally important that for us to harbour thoughts of catching Brentford, it's more of a don't lose game, because if we lose then we're nine points behind Brentford.
"So talking openly and honestly about the situation, I don't want to add extra weight on to the players, but at this stage of the season, we want to win games of football. We've worked so hard to get into a position that I don't want to throw it away now this week.
"It's about bouncing back on Saturday. You're still in it due to the inconsistencies of others in the division.
"A lot of teams have a lot to fight for at the moment. If we look at ourselves, we're still six points away from fifth. Then you look at the bottom and it's five or six points separating seven or eight teams.
"There's still so much to play for and that's why it's so competitive at the moment."
