Bias towards English clubs?

We had a blatant penalty against Forest & the Jack's had an even more blatant penalty against Fulham, its happened to many times now. Do you think the Refs instinct takes over and they favour the English clubs?

Maybe subconsciously all the anti English chanting that they hear at every match means they tend to look less favourably on any debatable decisions during the game.

Our fans spend an awful lot of time during each match singing anti English songs but I have no idea if the JB's do the same?

I don't think so, some poor refs about though.

You'll get more home/away bias than Welsh/English. There are a lot more 'homer'refs but Stephen 'Swagger' Martin has always been an 'away'ref. I always find an away ref courts controversy more and over the years Martin loves the controversy playing the big I Am...

You dont say ... and to answer your question YES because thats the only reason why we got relegated from the Premier League. Stupid refereeing decisions costing us points.

What about Bambas goal against Brighton..clearly offside. Warnock used to rattle on about Chelsea, but was mute when it worked for us.

Was it not concluded that the ball reached Bamba via a Brighton head from a throw?? ( for what it's worth?)

Dunno... but the OP seems to know a lot about individual referees preferences. Lets play in the Welsh League with Welsh refs..

I remember Ceri Richards running the line in a game in the 90s.. you could be flagged offside even if being played on by 3 defenders if you wore blue. but could be anywhere on the park you wanted if not wearing blue...to this day the worse most bias linesman ive seen and Welsh... a jack but Welsh..
