If so,why ?

I'm not

dont think I've ever boo'd a city team, that's not why I go to games and dont think its helpful.
it seems to be the current way of the world though.

Never unless players do not try or make an effort. If that happens they will hear me...
Wed Feb 26, 2020 8:07 pm
No
Wed Feb 26, 2020 8:16 pm
Only for ex jacks and refs.........
I never boo'd when Tomlin came back from the summer massively overweight and fully took the piss for 2 seasons. It rarely matters if you are poor as long as you get "stuck in" and bit of a character. Quiet technical players seem to get a raw deal with sections of our fan base

Only once I have ever turned on the team and that was at Hillsborough the season we bottled it, purely based on the lack of effort and Roger Johnson having a pop at the fans.
Wed Feb 26, 2020 8:53 pm
Never have,if I ever thought I might I just wouldn't go.

I just don't see how booing your own players can be anything other than counterproductive.
If I'm not impressed by the performance of the team (like at Stoke on Saturday and last night) I just don't bother applauding them off the pitch at the end of the game.
I'm sure the players don't notice that I'm standing there with my arms folded (and probably don't give a shit!) refusing to clap but it's my own small way of making my dissatisfaction apparent.
I find it a bit strange the amount of fans who still applaud the players at the end of a game in which the performance has been woeful but obviously they've been able to take something from the game which has passed me by.

Never. Now we back in blue there’s nothing to boo about is there?
Ones who boo aren’t proper fans in my opinion.

Our "fans" went through a phase of booing Peter whittingham not so long ago. Murphy can be a lazy #### but he didn't deserve that
Wed Feb 26, 2020 11:37 pm
Its not Booing that's going to be the problem though is it? Fans will vote with their feet,,, with their attendance, and historically Cardiff City fans have been very good (or bad) at this.
If the club is waiting to see where we are likely to be "At" before announcing season ticket prices, then they need to be very careful.

No never!

I'm not sure I'm enjoying this thread....one or two posts seem lazy. There doesnt seem to be any direction to the thread either. One or two posters are not of the high quality standard we expect either. The forum moderator needs to sort it out. I have been coming to this forum for years....since sept 2018 actually!!

Booing achieves nothing other than to generally make things worse than they already are.
Yes, players are overpaid and should produce more however mentally they are still mere human beings and being shouted or booed does nothing to lift them.
Forums are the place for criticism but merely typing *name* is shit is hardly productive either, back it up with something constructive.
We all pay money to travel to games and we all want to see good football and three points, it doesn't always work like that though!
City fans are great when the going is good but they can be up there with the worst when it isn't.

I will never boo a team unless they are opposition!!! I clap my team if they put effort in and wont clap if they haven't tried. Simple as that.
Our team and players should never be booed. It achieves nothing. Just dont clap if you are not happy with their effort

yep, so many want flare, flowing football, and players with technical ability but the second we lose they want road diggers that put a shift in..

Agree with you, especially on the last bit.

Not once since 1967.

No, plus I also applaud after the final whistle as by that point it’s too late to change the result and I’ve always been taught to be humble in defeat. I also work on the basis that nobody makes mistakes on purpose and if the players see our appreciation at the final whistle it can be a motivational catalyst for the next game.
I’m also grateful we are in the second tier of English football having spent years away and watched most Cardiff City games in the lower divisions and as a “supporter” I choose to support.
