initially yes your correct but there have been a few implying things about the last contract he signed under NW..

Yeah I think the concern was that a lot of contract renewals were done by his son.

Used to be pretty standard back the day, manager gets player a new contract and takes a slice and also makes sure his son is the agent and gets another slice and sometimes a slice from the club as well.

Im not sure if this has happened with Warnock or not to be honest, the only odd contracts I can think of was Bacuna on 5 and a half years and of course Connolly getting a new 2 year deal after promotion.

I believe Aden Flint and Glatzel have the same agency too

Giving a player who was playing without distinction for a club struggling in the Championship when we were a Premiership club, paying way way over the top for him and giving him a four year contract .

Wonder who his agent is? Hmmm.

Still at least our knowledgeable and experienced "transfer committee" will have looked closely at this transfer before going ahead and concluded that Leandro was just the player we needed to help us stay up.
