THE SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW IS GOING TO BE HUGE

Sun Feb 23, 2020 1:06 pm

Some players are out of contract at the end of this season but not only that it is what Tan will allow Harris to spend if they are expecting a big change up with this team. I say we need to move on players such as Connolly Vassell and even Glatzel now I that might not be a great opinion to some, but Robert has been struggling to keep up his good performances in the team hense the reason Harris puts him on the bench.

What I Would Do:
I would bring in a creative midfielder like a Bannan or a Matty Cash from Forest. Then I would go for a new striker (if we sell Glatzel) and go for someone like a Dwight Gayle or a Conor Chaplin from Barnsley. I would love the team to go for a different philosafy and not just hoof the ball for the tall striker up ahead, I would love the team to play on the floor more with pacey strikers.

And of course I would get a new defender in (If Bamba Retires) I am not sure who but we need Connolly and potentially Flint to move on and as backup we will need another central defender. I would leave right back and left backs alone because we got Cunningham and young Coxe (If Harris Changes His Mind) as backups to Richards and Bennett.

I would get a new winger as well for a backup to either Mendez or Hoilett now I know we got Murphy (Who Celtic Are Chasing) and Whyte but what we need is more quality on the wings. Now I know its out there and its unlikely but I would love Cantwell from Norwich to join us.

Players I Would Bring In:
Matty Cash
Barry Bannan
Conor Chaplin
Todd Cantwell

Players That Need A Move Elsewhere:
Connolly
Flint
Glatzel
Vassell
Bacuna

Players Who Could Retire At The End Of This Season:

Sol Bamba

I am thinking the summer window will be less spend than last summer buddy.

Hopefully cos last summer window only paid for Warnock and his sons pocket lining

Coxe has already been released

Cantwell is a regular in a Premier League team being tracked by Man Utd and Spurs and would cost £20 million plus

Cash might well be playing in the Prem league with Forest is highly rated and would cost at least £10 million plus

Chaplin would cost £5 million plus as would Bannon

Dwight Gayle is a Prem league striker who would also cost £10 million plus £80k a week wages

None of them are realistic targets

The list of players who should leave is not long enough, it should include, Day, Richards and Ward (and Bogle who will be going anyway) and the two loan players who can't get a game. And Tomlin.

a couple of those players might be realistic if we got promoted, but none of them are in the championship.

Day, Connolly, Jazz, Flint, Pack/Vaulks (one of them) Ward, Bogle, Vassell, maybe even Whyte for me, Mark Harris,
i would probably look at sending that Aaron Bolger out on loan, he's been hyped as a great player but yet to feature

i do agree with this could be a huge summer for us, in regards of a rebuild, however your targets are all unrealisitic. Norwich are apprently slapping a £30m price tag on Cantwell.

Im surprised Bolger is not released. but i agree with the list you put out. i would keep pack since we need a leader in midfield and with the amount of players leaving that could give us a tone of money to spend which is only good for us.

Think we should pick from teams who go down

If Luton go down then James Collins could be a decent signing for a year or 2. Probably wouldn’t cost too much turning 30.

Huddersfield have Alex Pritchard and Karlan Grant

Barnsley have Cauley Woodrow, Ben Williams and Conor Chaplin

Wigan have Kieffer Moore, Lee Evans, Che Dunkley, Sam Morsy

Stoke then obviously have Joe Allen, McClean amongst others

I wouldn't say any of them apart from Smithies would be missed, all spineless pieces of crap.

Most will stay as we apparently have no money for replacements
