How many to Stoke?

Fri Feb 21, 2020 8:04 am

First time up there for me, and Ive got 4 other family members coming with me. Hope there'll be a decent number travelling as ive always thought Stoke was a bit of a draw for City fans. Not too far, and the links between our clubs with the likes of Kav and Thorne....

We had 2500, heard no news of a sell out?

Anything over 1,000 I think will be OK.

Been there four times myself, its an easy trip mind so hopefully we can push it up to 1500+

Ps.. Some of the travel groups are having issues with coach companies at the moment which might put a few off.

Major roadworks on A500 apparantly. Massive travel congestion as the road is closed tomorrow. Need to leave earlier than expected. Gonna leave at 945am, hopefully that'll do the trick.

Only 1300 sold by Friday afternoon so not a great turnout but not a bad one either.

It's 153 miles each way mind.

To compare, Fulham brought 800 here, Derby 1400, Stoke brought 500 here midweek, Millwall brought less than 500 on boxing day, West Brom brought just over 1000 here whilst top of the League.

Our away crowds are fantastic and 1300 sold is excellent, 1500 will be a top turnout by league and geographical position

Looking at those figures I’d have to agree

We haven’t played Derby at home yet.
Doubt they will bring 1400 either

Think we took 1400 up there on a Friday night on TV and nearly 1,000 to Millwall on a Tuesday with it on the red button.

1,444 went to Derby
868 went to Millwall

I thought we might even take 2,000 to Stoke on a Saturday, 3pm not live on tv and we are on a great run.

1,280 we have actually sold, I thought it would be a lot more.

Official sales today where 1565 not a bad turn out if you ask me

Especially with the rugby on and all the hassle the independent coaches have had this last week or so
