Nelson benefited next to Sean Morrison?

NEIL HARRIS:

"It’s combinations, centre-halves, centre midfield, striking partnerships, goalkeeper and centre backs, wing backs and wingers.

Curtis is still learning the game and learning how to play at this level. He is a great learner.

He is always asking questions, always asking for video analysis, always in the gym, wants to be better all the time.

He’s always last on the training pitch. Him and Mozza have been a good combination. Mozza’s experience, leadership and voice at key moments and Nelson is adapting all the time. The turn of pace he’s got is really impressive. I’ve said to Sol before that Nels is, in some ways, like Sol, just with that yard of pace and getting those long legs out to stop shots.

They’ve been a productive centre-half pairing. The challenge is for them to stay there and for Aden and Sol to force their way back in."

not sure why it took him so long to realise the obvious really.

couldn't believe it the one well he dropped Nelson and paired Morrison and Flint again.

is it obvious ? Morrison and Flint are both better CBs than Nelson.. its just doesn't work with them as a pair.

yes of course it is. Most on here said when he signed between them they lack to much pace. but then even so Harris said when he joined us he had gone back and watched every game so again it was even more obvious but he still went with Flint and Morrison and again it didnt work. he finally realised Nelson had to play alongside them and it worked then the following week he dropped Nelson again and we got thrashed.
it was more than obvious and very odd decision making. thankfully the penny finally dropped, just a shame it took so long.
