' JAZZ RICHARDS '

NEIL HARRIS:

Players making the most of those opportunities, Jazz Richards, Wales?

"We can all see Jazz’s ability, he is quality."

"Me as an observer, as an opposing manager, I was fully aware of his abilities. Mindful of his injury record, of course, but we want to come away from that, we want to talk about his future moving forward. His performances have been very good. He and Lee fought for that position and Lee has left for West Brom. The beauty of Jazz is he can play right-back or left-back as we saw the other day. We have to be careful not to push him too much, but he wants to play every game. But he is playing a run of games in the Championship and his own form is outstanding. All he can do is take care of his own performances and for me Jazz is one of my main players."

he is the manager and has every right to choose one over the other but he arrived here with this Jazz obsession , there was no fight for the shirt Lee had it and Harris kept talking about how close to being fit Jazz was..just hope Jazz doesn't let him down.

Must be watching a different Jazz Richards than the one I watch every week.

Every manager has their own "lovechild" - a player who they see something in that many others just can't see.

It would appear that Jazz is Harris's "boy".

He’s definitely a class player and has always played well for Wales,I remember the Belgium home game a few years ago but his injury record while with us is terrible. I think it depends on how he plays into the end of the season and what the medical men say as to whether he gets another year! We need to sign another right back anyway and as Jazz can play both sides he would be a useful squad member if fit!

Performances "outstanding" according to Harris. Are we talking about the same Jazz Richards who was torn apart at QPR and who gave away a terrible penalty against WBA? He might have ability but he certainly hasn't shown anything special to date either going forward or defending.

When he gets a new contract he will be straight back on the sick.
