I was hoping we would have got him off the books by now. Never going to get in the first team so why keep him. More wasted wages.

Ive said all along giving him a new two year deal on promotion was very odd, surely his contract will be up by the summer so shouldn't be starting preseason with us

I thought that as well. If his contract runs out in the summer, why are they talking about him being here next season!? Amazed he is still here now to be honest!

Amazing - we pay off Madine and terminate his contract without getting any kind of fee for him, but we'll happily keep Connolly warming up the medical room for years
