But Tomlin decided this Summer to change his attitude and went on a mega diet

been a huge turn around for him.. and long may it last.
this time last year he was sitting out a ban at Peterborough having been hooked off in his first 2 games and sent off in his 3rd game for them

Agree. How much outside confidence was he given by other managers

It's s pity he couldn't have played like this in the premier ,we seem to have wasted 2 yrs of him ,wonder what made him change his ways , still glad he has , couldn't give the bugger away last season lol

It's a funny old world.....never say never, and always expect the unexpected.

For me Tomlin is the key that has turned our team around. Was I begging for him to be played under Warnock? No! In my head I wrote Tomlin off many months ago, but look at him now. The cream is rising to the top.

But don't forget for the first several months he was here he had that court case hanging over him. That must have been a huge distraction at the time. His talent on the field was never really in question.

Tomlin is way above any of our other midfielders. He should have been starting last year too.

Last year he was not right, his head plus his fitness he was struggling with Peterborough.

But fair play to him he got himself fit lost weight and has a determination to make it work this season and I am sure
he regrets letting himself go when we signed him but he is making up for it this year.

But no manager can take the credit he did that by himself as said before we would have let him go to Luton or anyone who would have had him.
