One of if not the best player in the league when he plays like this.

So much for Warnock saying he can only do 60 minutes

So frustrating because he applies himself less than pretty much everyone but obviously has the raw talent to win a game

Been saying it all season warnock barely used him when he came on against sheff wed at home he changed the game the man is sheer quality player of the season by aa huge margin if he got injured we would struggle big time

?
He busts a gut and is as fit as anyone in the team?

Never understood Warnock’s treatment of him when taking him off @60-70 minutes. Remember the Bristol game when he’d done a gut busting run to try to charge down their keeper then gets hooked so City could play hoofball for the rest of the game and we know how that went.

Warnock would have had him on the bench after an hour v Barnsley but Harris has him on and in that time he sets up Ward for 2-2 then scores in the 94th minute.

You mean like Lionel Messi..

It is only this season he has burst into life and then mainly under Neil Harris' management. In previous seasons he looked overweight and frankly hopeless.

The fitness work he put in over the summer has really paid off and we now have a genuine talent on our hands. Just hope he doesn't lose interest over the forthcoming summer.

yes mate he was overweight { not nearly the 2 stone plus } .. but its what a lot of managers will do when they haven't got 10 mill but can get a player potentially that good on the cheap.. you buy them believing you can get them fit and get more out of them.. its what lee johnson did before him, and why karanka took him on loan and then did not buy him..
should we not have bought him ? seems money well spent to me....oh and the 1 of your 5 a day...when exactly did Warnock say this 60 minute thing..

Re: " Lee Tomlin "

Under Warnock he piled the weight on and was in court being charged for Assault with lots on his mind and he couldn't play for long we all see it for ourselves even on loan he was unfit.

However since he has come back this season he has worked really hard to drop a lot of weight and get fit and his head is clear
and maybe Warnock would have started picking him as he did bring him on which Harris knew all about

So I don't think Warnock didn't like him he felt let down by him

Fair points Dogfound.
Nobody knows exact what has gone on over last few years re LT mate. and mental health has also been mentioned.
Think we both agree that we have an excellent player atm who can get us on the edge of our seats.

Colin Murray loves him; his one word analysis of our win yesterday was priceless

he is 30 years old, and if he had been in this form for any length of time during his career he would have played in the prem for longer than the 6 games for Bournemouth before Howe moved him on.. and not ever been a Cardiff player.
unless I missed it I don't think Warnock said anything about 60 minutes. why would any manager tie his own hands by saying that. ? I know Tomlin said it in his rant.{ which wasn't exactly true }
we have been both unlucky with him. unlucky that he wasn't fit for 2 years . this time last year he was in lge1 and not pulling any trees up there either.
and lucky in that this season he has found his mojo for whatever reason and is probably in the best form of his career..

not in this thread..but you have done.
but I wouldn't have been hanging out to trust him 2 years in if I were Warnock either, but it was not like he was banished to train with the kids either ..he played the whole game at Millwall { ironically a good hour and not so good final half hour } missed Swansea injured. was then on the bench for brum which we won so wasn't really worth risking.. started v Bristol but taken off after 75 mins { which was a tactical }change which apparently never ever happened } after they took the lead and we went more direct..
then Harris dropped him toi the bench for the next game,
