CARDIFF TODAY PLAYED AWAY TO BOTTOM OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP CLUB LUTON TOWN & CAME AWAY WITH THE 3PTS


Albert Adomah made his debut


At half-time a draw was about right but not a single shot on target by either side


Very poor from City’s perspective.


As they say 3pts are 3pts

2nd half once again Cardiff improved and deserved their narrow win

Graeme Jones Luton' side had won just one of their last 11 fixtures in all competitions.

Cardiff started brightly and for the first 15mins were all over Luton.
Cardiff faded and let Luton more in to the game and by the end of the first 45 mins a draw was fair.

Cardiff City improved as they usually do in the 2nd halfs.



An incredible stop from Simon Sluga. Murphy hoofed an aimless ball up the pitch and defender Matty Pearson made a hash of his header, which put Paterson through on goal. The Scot toe-pokes it, but Sluga raised his left hand instinctively to save it!


Cardiff continued to press forward and bang Lee Tomlin scores in the 74th min 0-1 Cardiff


Junior Hoilett replaced Josh Murphy.




Tomlin came off, Bacuna on.


Cardiff deserved the win due once again to a fairly good 2nd half-performance

Got to take the points and run. We have to accept we won’t be good enough this season to win and actually dominate for large periods. So we will always rely on other teams missing theirs to an extent but we came for or 3 points and got them at least

Murphy gone from playing well to acting like a complete fairy again.

Adomah I thought played well and once he gets his and jazz barrings surely 1 of there many crosses today will find somone.

I just cant help thinking I we were to lose Tomlin we would be well and truly fucked no matter who was manager he just seems to find that one ball In a game that's splits the class of everyone else.

I thought vaulks fought for every ball today and battled it out in the middle

Peace until Wednesday night now for the anti Harris brigade

1st half garbage.
2nd better.
Good goal - thankfully Jazz didn’t just lump it down the line but played it on the floor to switch play.
Still don’t get carried away, it was a narrow win v the bottom side who didn’t do themselves any favours by taking off their best player on the hour.
Huddersfield will be a much more difficult game.
