I have always admired Manchester United as a Club, I know a lot of people dislike them, probably due to the South Wales plastics whixh I can understand but it's a shame to see how they have gone post Ferguson, as a Football fan in general I would rather see a competitive League and hope they get back up to challenge Man City and Liverpool, same for Arsenal

Total disaster. What a loss

Thanks for posting this. It was one of the saddest days in football.

Just come across one of my memories on Facebook, thought I’d share it.

In 1958 one of the worst accidents happened and destroyed many lives and nearly destroyed a football club.

An accident that also affected staff of the airline, local and national papers and Manchester City FC.

Today, the memory of the Busby Babes and all those lost in that fatal crash lives on.

Regardless of which team you follow, history is important to each and every club, whether it’s Hillsboro, Heysel, Bradford or Chapacoense, true football fans remember and respect the history.

Watched the film United the other day, with David Tennant in. Very well done.

By the way, they would not be the club they are today without the Busby Babes.
