Neil Harris: “Regarding City players 90 mins & getting wins”

Mon Feb 03, 2020 3:04 pm

Neil Harris talks about his squad and up and coming games.

NEIL HARRIS:

"I've said to the group that we have to play for 90 minutes in our matches. We have to keep a good account of ourselves and start turning these draws into wins.”

"We've had lots of games where we've been better than our opponents and should have won. It is a game of fine margins determining results, and we're trying to find that level of consistency over the course of 90 minutes.”

"It's what I'm asking of the boys ahead of these big upcoming fixtures."

While giving updates on the current injuries in the squad, Harris also praised the members of the group who have made the step up to the side in recent fixtures.

"We put in good performance on the weekend that we were unfortunate not to win," Harris explained. "And there are a lot of good players who are clearly working hard to get into the side, which is always good to see.”

“We have a number of long term injuries in Mendez-Laing, Vassell and Connolly, but we have a strong squad able to over come these injuries.”
