Willie McKay on Saturday night stood accused of continuing to help broker Premier League transfers without a licence to do so, a year after revealing his role in Emiliano Sala’s tragic move to Cardiff City.

The man who also booked Sala’s fatal flight was even said still to be acting on behalf of Nantes by trying to find a buyer for the striker’s former team-mate, Abdoulaye Toure, before the January window closed on Friday night.

The Scot’s alleged involvement in that and another potential last-minute deal was condemned by Cardiff, who last week lodged a complaint with French prosecutors over issues relating to Sala’s death.

Two respected and knowledgeable journalists there and this article appears to back up (at least) some of the things reported on here last week in relation to Cardiff City's challenge in the French Courts

If true, it just goes to show that absolute disregard the guy McKay has for anyone other than himself; as highlighted on this Forum in the aftermath of the tragedy that occurred with some of his comments to Emiliano Sala himself

Willie McKay on Saturday night stood accused of continuing to help broker Premier League transfers without a licence to do so, a year after revealing his role in Emiliano Sala’s tragic move to Cardiff City.

The man who also booked Sala’s fatal flight was even said still to be acting on behalf of Nantes by trying to find a buyer for the striker’s former team-mate, Abdoulaye Toure, before the January window closed on Friday night.

They said they were not going to comply with what FIFA ruled. They have now taken it to another appeal claiming they did not own him.... yet have since filed a suit with the French claiming that Nantes may have mishandled their asset (suggesting they now accept they did own him).

That is irrelevant to the purchase. Should it be deemed that there is some liability after a criminal case then you can then look to take them to court, but the legal case has no bearing on the civil one.

Both FIFA and CAS will not be considering anything to do with that.
