The amount of stick Lee peltier recieved over the years on social media and forums how ironic like many other players as soon as he moves on he suddenly becomes the best thing since sliced bread!

I have spent hours defended Peltier over the years sometimes a loan voice on here, but now everyone wants a big love in with him the best player at the club, the best full back etc. where were those comments in the past?

This was absolute right decision by the club under the circumstances presented to them by Peiltier and his agency (owned by Neil Warnock son) when trying to sort out a new contract.

I wish him well he was a great servant for us not sure WBA is the right move for him but he is a free agent in the summer which will help get another club I'm sure.

As the saying goes some people are not happy unless they are moaning

Lee is a good honest professional He had is limitations going forward but he was a solid defender who always gave his best for City I am sure if we had Messi at our club people who say he is shit at defending .
Excellent player for city but he was not part of city’s future plans that is football for you He is a player I wish well in the future He will be missed in the short term but if any player that’s fills his position and is as good a defender then I will be happy If they are great going forward as well then a result
But I guess if the player can do that he would not be in the championship with us

Disappointing news to see LP leaving for WBA . As already said, always gave 100% and can only wish him all the best.

Solid player. Always 100%. I'm sure we all appreciate his efforts and wish him well. He may well have been limited going forward but you couldn't fault his commitment

Good defender and as one astute poster pointed out that probably explained his good showing in the PL as we were on the back foot most of the time.

However, he couldn't pass, cross or overlap his winger. Fans often moan we don't provide service to our front players (which is fair comment) and part of that problem IMO is LP failure to get forward and provide quality crosses into the box (like Bennett does on occasion). The lack of service to the front players can't be exclusively blamed on LP but he was part of the problem.

This is so true so many people gave him so much stick over the years...

24 starts is not a back up full back, and yes I know Harris prefers Jazz at the moment which has been obvious from his interviews from day 1 but I doubt if we all had to place a bet on who would have been available the most between now and may out of those 2 , not many would be betting on Richards..
as for the mercurial savior he owes us about 40 top notch performances. Peltier was never the best but always gave his best.
