Why havent we got a striker

The playoffs are not out of sight and we've got one of the worst strike force in the championship,maybe a first team quality striker and maybe a cm could've been a difference for a play off push than a mid table finish.looks like tan has give up this season and will push on with the next one for promotion it really looks like the slade days to me,that said i hope this team proves me wrong and goes for it

Paterson three in three. We have decent strikers, just need service so fingers crossed Adoma can provide some final balls

Does it matter if team got 30 goals from all over the pitch or 30 from 1 or 2 strikers? The way we are set up more likely to get goals from other positions rather than the one striker we play... but until we get in different players in summer nothing is likely to change unless adohma can give us the crosses we need for glatzel or whoever to prosper.

barrywelsh is there anyone in this team who isnt clueless or do you just think glatsel a striker should score 100% of the time

Why cant people see that it's the system or style play that is the problem? We've had 6..7.. strikers all failed even allowing for bad buys not all are useless they just dont get consistency in service to them or more importantly backup by midfielders to function properly. One man upfront 30yds from team mate is going to struggle even in top teams

you could be right but surely neil warnock and harris could've changed the system to get our strikers scoring and not relying on set pieces all the time or maybe theyre to one dimensional?

Well NW didn't do anything to help strikers that's for sure as he played Paterson large parts of season and one man upfront... NH as not had chance to do much other than to try get us to play more possession and passing which slowly is doing as stats show... hopefully summer window will indicate where we are going with NH by who he gets in! It is a bit of a mess at present but thats not NH fault
