Pack no where near good enough

Painfully slow in possession and without. He has a 50 yard diagonal pass in him but only goes ten yards forward. He can only go sideways and even then too slowly. He had two chances to feed Bennet last night when Bennett had thirty yards of open pitch in front of him. Instead of playing it ten yards in front so Bennett could run on to it he played straight to feet! He did it twice. He manages to make others become slow too. He can't tackle and Ovie Ajara, who was very good, ran rings around him. He plays central but can't and doesn't want to recieve the ball in tight spaces. When he does it just gets bounced back from where its passed from. Has no ability to beat a man. How he is on set pieces is beyond me. Pathetic clipped delivery with no pace whatsoever. And when on the extremely rare occasion he tries to make a telling forward ball it never comes off and is usually over hit. Drops way to deep so he can have ball with no pressure, does nothing with it and leaves us light of numbers where he should be. He is however very good at pointing and telling other people where they should be.

I agree with everything you say!

Pack has been a shocking signing. I hope that the club are able to move him on in the Summer somehow.

He is not the worse player i have seen for us, but the least suited. WTF Warnock was thinking is beyond me.

In Ralls (when fit) Vaulks and Bacuna we have far more mobility.

We are trying to shoehorn Tomlin into a system with 2 wingers leaving 2 in the middle against others teams three but sometimes four. So the "wingers " drop back into midfield which they are not great at..........Hence why Josh is looking like he has never played the game before.

This manager still doesn't know what he wants to do. The last guy to change mid game as often was Ole who turned to be a Norwegian minor league level, who is successfully making the world richest club into a mid table team

remember the "anyone can take a corner" bollox  Well anyone can be a football manager is the same, you can't, you need a sprinkle of stardust. This guy doesn't have it.

He is not good enough to sit in the pocket and set the pace of the game like Whitts used to, he hasn't the protection either. He is a CM whose legs have gone, he needs to drop to L1 where his passing "ability" will overshadow his like of mobility.
